Hi all,

I got the words, and i am on it nowwards. Currently i have over 100 students
from various engineering and other technical collages. I can start some campus
activities but any suggestion, what kind of activities we should start? I mean
some thing really new, not all that old stuff like telling them linux is the
safest thing... we must give our audience something what they really need but
dont know its there.

What people do on there PC these days is
Internet surfing
Play MP3
Watch Movies
make presentations and word documents for their collage activities.
And yes last but not the least gaming.

Can we do all these things on linux, better then Windows?

Well linux can be a good thing for developers like me (coz its a bit easy then
my FreeBSD) but not everyone uses their machine for software and web
development. For most of them its just a gaming stuff.

May be such people are not our target audience but we must have something for
everyone.


So what are we planning to introduce? The only suggestion I have for it is, it
should not be very fancy (or technical in other words) it should be something
everyone can understand and something they can enjoy.
