hi..I have sent 5 Cds of Ubuntu Linux [www.canonical.com] each to
Takshshila, Hitkarini and Polytechnic colleges and 2 Cds to
Pushpendra. If anybody needs copies, they can contact the respective
HoDs of the said colleges.
If I will get hold on any interesting stuff, I will have it
distributed as and when possible.
Hope the efforts like the one taken by Neependra will help promote the
FOSS movement and create opportunity to embrace the same in
development, education and usage.
There appears to be a growing recognition of FOSS and Linux in
e-governance, education and industry and if seminars and events can be
arranged periodically, it will help guide the efforts of everyone in
the right direction.
