JCER forum is a forum for making JCER related announcements and discussions. It is also a forum for scientists, philosophers and other learned individuals to discuss their research and express their views on the nature, origin and mechanism of consciousness. In doing so, we hope that one day we will be able to arrive at a genuine science of consciousness.

Further, as Gregory M. Nixon put it, "for a science of consciousness to get anywhere it will have to be different from all other sciences that have gone before: it will need to include philosophy (ontology) & expressions of personal experience."
