I'm facing a small challenge with counting.  Since SPARQL doesn't seem to have the ability to group/count I'm using the Jena api, specifically "listPropertyValues" then iterating. 

 

int count = i.listPropertyValues(Vocabulary.myChildren).toSet().size();

 

is that the conventional approach?
