This is what we came up with:
Several of our transcriptionists had contacted us regarding an issue with JAWS 10.0.1154 selecting text. Sometimes JAWS would only speak the first word on the line or the first word of a paragraph being selected and then stop selecting text when a carriage return was reached. This issue was found to exist in Word, Word Pad and Notepad (the only three applications tested). We found that the issue was a problem with JAWS 10 build 1154. By uninstalling build 1154 and installing JAWS 10 build 1151, the issue was fixed. The problem was a coding change in JAWS build 1154. Freedom Scientific has isolated and fixed the issue. The next release of JAWS will contain the fix; however, JAWS will not have a version 10 build released; the fix will be in JAWS version 11, a paid upgrade. If you encounter the text selecting issue with a client who does not have an SMA that will allow their use of JAWS version 11, then you will need to uninstall the JAWS 10 build 1154 and install JAWS 10 build 1151. We have JAWS 10 build 1151 at the MTTL and can send it to you if needed.

Have any of you experienced this problem. My JFW 10 Pro sometimes or most of the time doesn't read what I cut and paste from Word to the body of my email on outlook Express but if I use the Jaws cursor it will.
