I think you'll like the 2116. It has the same button layout as the
1994 and has an LCD. The 2117 is essentially a 2116 w/ an RF
extension. Both have an extender available.

... I'd have to say the URC-8810w ($19.64 @ Wal-Mart). It's 8 devices, JP1 out of the box, can use John's best extender, and I think has the most available...
