Motorola DRC 400/425   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #29657 of 29729 |
I'm new to jp1, but not computers. I need to modify a remote control
(Motorola DRC 400/425) which has a 6 pin connector in the battery
area, and I suspect it will accept jp1 operations. However, I cannot
find any encouraging references in the files to suggest that I can do
so. Does anyone have info on the DRC 400 to suggest I should
procedd, or should I buy some other remote which could learn the
codes from my cable box unit?

... I don't understand what you mean by "cannot find any encouraging references". The DRC400 has support in the 3 major JP1 software tools (IR, KM, and RM)....

What modification does the DRC400 need to work with JP1? I wasn't aware it needed one. Rob ... From: "Mark Pierson" <markeagleusa@...> To:...
