THE EVENT
Everybody has heard about the "Silicon Valley" of India,
Bangalore. Large organizations (e.g. IBM, SAP, Motorola) have
development centers there, with hundreds of local employees
working for them. But how can your company outsource a project
directly to a software development center in India? How much
does it cost, how do you source the right company, what factors
need to be considered, and what are the potential benefits? This
presentation will give you an independent perspective on these and
other issues.

TUV Rheinland is the largest German certification body with 8000
plus employees in 40 countries, making it a strong partner to
customers globally. Their services range from certification of
power plants to computer chips and people.

SPEAKER PROFILE
After 12 years as a high-ranking officer in the German military,
Mr. Doose started his career in the TUV Rheinland group in Taiwan.
After 1.5 years he was promoted to Chief Information Officer of
TUV Rheinland Group Asia and moved to the Asian Headquarters
(Japan) in March 2000. Since July 2002 he has been the Chief
Operating Officer of TUV Rheinland Japan Ltd. and additionally
holds the title of Chief Information Officer - Asia Group.
