Topic: A Roadmap for Building Leadership Excellence
How Technology Companies Develop and Retain Future Leaders
Speaker: Brad Hall, Director of Global Executive and
Organizational Capability, IBM Asia Pacific

Presentation Overview -
How do great Technology Organizations build great Leadership?
IBM was just cited by CEO Magazine/Hewitt Associates as #1 in
Executive Development surpassing General Electric. A Sloan

as best in class for leadership development. Brad Hall,
Director for Global Executive and Organizational Capability
at IBM-Asia Pacific currently runs this Executive and Leadership
Development function for Asia Pacific.

Brad specializes in organization and people effectiveness issues
and has worked in several large, Fortune 500 organizations such
as Pepsi Co., McDonaldfs, and AT&T Japan (seconded to Japan
Telecom to do large scale organization redesign). He will be
speaking on how Technology Organizations develop and train
current and potential Executives and Leaders in their
organizations. What are the common practices all these
organizations utilize? What formal training programs do
these companies offer? What characteristics they look for in
individuals? What kinds of experience or skills are required?
And, most importantly, how does this apply to you?
