Details:

Paul Chermak will discuss the Japan IT situation and the need for Project
Portfolio Management in Japanese companies. He will share trends in the
Japan and US on IT spending and the current challenges and concerns CIOs
have today. He will also talk about why a change in IT is a must.

Paul Chermak, is Managing Director of International Business Operations
for ITM Software, a company focused on providing a totally integrated
suite of products for IT business management and governance. In his role,
Paul is responsible for setting up global operations in Japan and Europe
for

ITM along with developing key business relationships with SI partners. He
is an internationally known senior executive with over 30 years experience
in the high technology sector at several blue chip companies. His areas of
coaching expertise reflect his broad global and management experience.
They include executive leadership skills and strategy, global team and
account management, building sales and marketing teams in the domestic and
international arenas, collaborative engineering, and mergers and
acquisitions. Paul appeared on World Business Review with General
Alexander Hag discussing improving productivity through global team
collaboration. He has also published numerous business articles at Keio
University in Japan. He currently serves on the board of the NEI Institute
of Technology, Dunwoody Institute and is a member of the Keizai Society.

will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the presentation. The meeting
is expected to finish shortly after 21:00.


Directions to Tokyo American Club

The nearest subway station is Kamiyacho (Hibiya Line). Car parking is not
available at TAC but there are car-park facilities at the Tokyo Tower site
which is within walking distance of TAC. There is a shuttle bus between
the Tokyo Tower car park and TAC. A map and directions for TAC can be

Once you arrive at TAC please proceed directly to the President's Room on
the third floor where the Global SIG event will be held.
