Sales Launch Revisited

Okay, here it is almost a year after her first Pink Cow public speaking
event and Terri MacMillan, our intrepid sales person (who loves people and
hates sales) has experienced a number of ups, downs and sideways in the
quest for great clients who enjoy working with a bicultural localization
company and liasing with a 46-year old AfricanAmerican/Cherokee woman with a
penchant for the internet (it will save us all! ahem.), grassroots politics,
laughing a lot, and the Atkins diet.

Come see what I did wrong (my bizpartner promises not to comment) and cheer
what I did right. Come see why my friends see me so seldom unless they're
doing the same things I am (still working on time management). Come see
where the "what are we selling" question got answered by the marketplace,
and how that's turning out to be not as bad as I thought. Come see me try to
work out a way to live with joy and integrity and still make reasonable
bushels of cash.

For those of you not familiar with the PCC, itıs our very own Pink Cow
chamber of commerce. We are conspiring to change the way things get done
around here by helping each other help ourselves. Geared toward small and
creative business people, we try to help each other find the things we need
for our businesses or the businesses we want to create. We also try to book
interesting business oriented speakers and have fun. Basic meeting time,
8:30pm-10pm, 10pm on is networking and general carousing.
