Thursday June 17 at FCCJ:

1) Case Studies and Approaches for Implementing Customer Analytics.

This presentation takes a look at the different approaches large enterprises
have taken to implementing Analytical CRM programs with varied degrees of
success and difficulties. The strongest results are achieved when
operational & analytical CRM capabilities are defined and implemented in an
integrated manner and guided by a disciplined roadmap and business case.

Speaker: Greg Ascolese

Principal, ABeam Consulting <http://www.abeam.com/>

2) Extending the Life of Legacy Systems

Many companies have made huge investments in their legacy systems in the
past 30 years. The functionality in these systems has evolved over time and
can't easily be replaced with a big bang new system implementation. As new
technologies emerge and mature, these in fact are being leveraged to provide
solutions that can be layered on top of legacy systems. This presentation
will cover the primary options that companies have to prolong the life of
existing systems and avoid or defer the costs of replacing them.

Speaker: Jenny Sutton

Partner, ABeam Consulting <http://www.abeam.com/>

Lance Gatling, President - Gatling Associates

"A Spectrum of Weapons Technology"

Technology changes the world in which we live in many visible ways. But
technology also changes the world of war and weapons around and above the
globe. Come and hear about some of the tremendous changes in weapon
technology over the past 100 years, literally throughout the spectrum, how
it affects the world around us, and why that change is accelerating rather
than stabilizing.

Based in Japan for the past 18 years, Lance Gatling has worked on aerospace
and weapons technology throughout Asia in both the public and private
sectors, in senior positions at the U.S. Embassy Tokyo, U.S. Forces Japan,
and the U.S. aerospace giants Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Hughes
Electronics, and Boeing. Lance is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at
West Point, where he studied Weapons Systems Engineering. A former career
Army political-military affairs officer and State Department Foreign Service
officer, he also has Masters degrees in National Security Affairs/East Asian
Studies from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and Public Administration
from Western Kentucky University. Not entirely coincidentally, his ancestor
Dr. Richard Gatling was the inventor of the Gatling gun.
