PCC 21: "Communicating with Designers" - MJ Daniels-Sueyasu, Wed 9 Nov. 2005
How do ideas get translated from a client to a designer? Clients and
designers are a indeed different breed with different needs yet the the
economy has created the need for them to work in harmony.
In the internet age when communication literally flies at an electric pace,
companys' have to have a streamlined process for establishing an online
presence to promote their new products and services. The designers with the
skills and experience are the ones they turn to for execution, yet the
communication between the two parties can often be a stumbling block
resulting in additional costs, delays and even failed projects.
MJ Daniels-Sueyasu, a veteran in the international Tokyo web design
community will share her expertise and experience to help you achieve
successful design projects. Focusing primarily on graphic and web design,
designers will learn what they can do to better work with clients, and those
with projects to offer will learn what they can do to better communicate
with designers in order to complete projects successfully - on time, on
budget, and with the minimum amount of stress.
