The TokyoPC February meeting on Feb. 2 ( the 1st Thurs.)
will be on basic PC Troubleshooting and Security.

For people without a broadband Internet connection or CD writer,
we may offer copies of evaluation versions of some of the
utilities for the price of the CD media, maybe about 100 yen.

From February we plan to again offer a "Help Desk" (at the
same time as the meeting) in the kitchen area next to the hall,
for hands-on help with hardware and software problems.
This service is provided on an "all due care taken, but no liability"
basis--apart from the meeting fee, which goes towards room
rental, there is no charge for this service. Pack your PC well
to avoid damage in transit!

The March meeting will be on Mar. 2nd -- please note the date
in your diary now.
