This month's Ringo Macintosh User Group meeting will focus on the
theme of Japanese language study and reading aids. The feature
presentation will be by the crew that produces JapanesePod101[1], a
free daily podcast designed to make learning Japanese fun and
relatively painless. There will also be demonstrations of some web-
based tools (including Jim Breen's WWWJDIC[2]), an extension[3] for
Firefox and Thunderbird, LiveDictionary[4], the OS X translation
widget, and probably a flash card program or two.

Theater, 3rd Floor, Apple Store, Ginza
Free admission.
Everyone interested in the Mac is welcome. (Many of the topics
discussed at this meeting are cross platform, and so may be of
interest to the Unix/Linux and Windows communities too.) Most Ringo
meetings are webcast live. Check http://www.ringo.net/ during the
meeting for details. The Ringo MUG hosts an active online bulletin
board[5] and mailing list[6] system for problem solving and general
discussion between the monthly meetings.
