The Rapid Consolidation and Evolution of the Global Software Industry

The global software industry is consolidating rapidly, and Oracle Corporation is
leading much of the change. The drivers behind this, and the implications for
the industry, will revolutionize the IT and business landscapes. Our presenter,
Brian Mitchell, will discuss Oracle's Acquisition Strategy, and the impact and
implications of industry consolidation, and its relevance in Japan.

Prior to his current role, Mitchell was Oracle's longest serving regional
managing director for Australia and New Zealand. Before joining Oracle, Mitchell
gained extensive experience in a range of roles working for major technology
companies including sales manager at IBM Corporation, COO at Digital Equipment
in Australia, managing director at BIS Banking Systems in Australia and
subsequently head of global marketing and development in London.
