I'm pleased to announce the launch of http://www.JapanEvents.net - a site
dedicated to listing community and networking events in Japan.

It has many nice usability features like e-mail subscription, RSS and iCal
feeds and 'Add to My Calendar'. There is also a place to submit your own
events on the site and a listing of related groups and associations. I hope
that it is a usseful time saver for many of you.

I will post regular summaries of the upcoming events to the JPNet list for
