All,
We are re-starting TENTUG! For those of you who do not remember
TENTUG stands for Tokyo English Networking Technology Users Group and
our goals are to bring IT people together with vendors to demonstrate
the latest and greatest products and ideas in IT.
For our first meeting we have decided the topic is AMD Opteron, and
will be presented by Brian Slattery of AMD, Thanks Brain. The meeting
will be this November 17th.
Synopsis: What are the reasons for processor manufacturer AMD's recent
market share surge? Enterprise users have found great benefits in AMD
Opteron's performance, low power consumption, and platform stability.
One of AMD Japan's Business Development Executives, Brian Slattery,
will highlight the key characteristics of Opteron that separate it
from the competition. Come learn how Opteron can help lower
electricity costs, reduce heat in your data center, and increase
performance. Also, have a sneak peak at some of the exciting results
you can expect from Quad-Core Opteron.
The meeting will be held at BT office in Roppongi at the Ark Hills
Building at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. Go to the reception area on
the 1st floor and sign in say that you are visiting KDDIBT on the 24th
floor. If you do not know where that is click on the following link
