I think the problem might be with the manifest file I used when jarring
the JSci jdk1.3 version (no manifest file is used with the jdk1.1.8
version). Try unjarring one of the jar files and rejarring using the
following manifest file:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Extension-Name: JSci core
Specification-Vendor: Mark Hale
Implementation-Vendor: Mark Hale
If this works let me know and I'll modify my build process.
