Hmm... I found a popup menu under SE's preferences that allows you
to switch to JavaScript OSA "as the default," but this isn't much
help if one wants to regular write scripts in both languages.
If you can afford it, Script Debugger is worth every penny. :)
Oh... wait: Under the View menu, I found a "Show Navigation Bar"
entry, which, when shown, displays a popup for changing the language.
P.S. So, checking this out caused me to read SE's help files for the
first time... does anyone know what "AppleScript X" is? It's
mentioned as "...a developmental version of the AppleScript
language that is not meant for normal use." I'm wondering if
this is the version of AppleScript that actually works well. ;-)
