I'm afraid I can't answer your question from personal experience, but the Jurtle website lists the requirements as:

Windows 98, ME,
   NT, 2000, XP
   Mac OS X 1.2 or higher
   Linux (or other Unix).

   Java SDK 1.4 or higher.

Another big issue may be RAM capacity and CPU speed for a machine that old.
