i've been playing around with some "oncamera" effects. like, i know how many seconds the k3 runs at for each crank etc...so after the crank is off, i rotade...

That wheel is the sound flywheel. Almost anything you put on the wheel will impair the sound. Do you have the film tensioned correctly around that flywheel?...
