i've been playing around with some "oncamera" effects. like, i know how many seconds the k3 runs at for each crank etc...so after the crank is off, i rotade...

Thanks. Of course I will tell them what film I send. But you think they can handle Fuji's 64D film, I know the can process all the kodak 16mm negative films so...
Please, I'm gonna shot tomorrow for a big job. And I just noticed that my first ever shot film with k3 has a few scratches (vertical when viewed in a...
Oh boy . . . By using the term "big job" I assume you mean a paying gig, and I would Hope and PRAY that as a DP you would have prior knowledge of matters such...
it does not scratch the film. i guess it was my projector then ... would Hope and PRAY that as a DP you would have prior knowledge of matters such as scratched...
hi, i found the source for scratching. it's on my projector. look at the picture http://w1.910.telia.com/~u91029181/scratching_part.jpg that metal "wheel"...
That wheel is the sound flywheel. Almost anything you put on the wheel will impair the sound. Do you have the film tensioned correctly around that flywheel?...

I believe http://www.concentric.net/~jdq/new.shtml does it. But, I would do it on my own, It can't be hard. Buy a used cheap (maybe damaged) slr 35mm still...
I own a 8mm Peleng lens, and a K-3 with Pentax mount. The Peleng came with a bayonet-mount adaptor, if i'm not mistaken. In fact, i think the Peleng is a ...

... I have to disagree with the above. We took our Peleng 8mm with us to Kenya and it delivered some outstanding footage. No, it's not as fast as the stock...
the 8mm is quirky, but high optical quality. the idea of doing a do it yourself lens mount exchange is a bit insane though. back focus is rather critical on...
... Not sure if it's useful to anyone or not, but I have an mpeg (8.5 megs) online of my first K3 lens tests. It's the same shot over and over using different...
if you want to know how lenses on krasnogorsk-3 will look. just multiply the focal length with 3,5 and you'll get the equal number for a 35mm still camera. ...
... Good question, to which I don't have an answer. I'm nearly 100% sure it was, but can't say for sure. The main point of these tests was to judge what F...

perhaps the most important consideration is the inability to view the entire 16mm frame in the k3 viewfinder ... i've thought of getting the gate, too ... and...
... yes, that's true. still, its more resolution for the same price... i think i'll do the gate myself as well, instead of paying for it. i have the tools. but...

You're right. well, i'll send my gate to NY. It's cheap, anyway. And yep, i do want to spend the time rendering every image i shoot! for digital color...
