Any chance that the shipping section will be working for international
sellers? I'm currently correcting every auction before I list because
the sell page doesn't recognize the Calculated field and reverts to
Flat Fee every time.

Also, all auctions with a reserve price still do not retrieve the high
bid information and issue, instead, an error message that the auction
has not yet ended. I'm still changing the quantity back to "1" after
unsold auctions with reserve prices end, and manually changing to
"bids checked". My concern is that I may miss one of the quantity
changes and not realize that I still have this item in inventory.

international shipping is a pain.  i am having real problems
with 'calculated shipping'.  will see what i can change.

reserve auctions and fixed price are having trouble with 'getting high
bids' - look for update in this next week.

Since Ebay has changed the auction format, again...my cross promotions
no longer work.  They were at the bottom of auctions, now for most
other people's auctions, they appear along the side.  Is mine not
showing because of a width setting that I can change within kauction?

The answer and setting is in your eBay selling account. Had the same
happen to me. Some of my settings got changed on one of eBay's many
updates and changes.

1. choose 'See High Bids' for the auction
2. when the high bidder info shows in the kAuction browser, right-
click and choose 'View Source'
3. Copy and paste that mess into an email for me (dan@...)

Auctions w/Fixed Price has variable insertion fees based on start amount.

However the new Fixed Price 30 days is 0.35 insertion fee regardless
of dollar amount.

The latest Beta 10/19 is giving me Auction/Fixed fees instead of FP30
  straight Fixed fees.

it's submitting page #1 then page #2 I see a quick flash with the info
then it starts to submit page #3 with it never finishing or anything
posting or loading. I've got DSL so this should go fast. I can't get
bulk upload to work either. Please help!

    I went to the site and saw there were recent updates. I updated
after attempting to post them. Then resubmitted. I saw where
Kauctions calculated shipping doesn't work, which I wanted to do
since I was selling all over the world. Here is what happened. My
auction title, photos, my email link and view my other auctions
showed up. The description didn't and at the top of the page. I
understand why it requested me to fill out a shipping and insurance
fee since I marked required insurance and seller pays for shipping.

    I checked Ebay's link policy since I attempted to post a link to
a site in my ad that was a company's authentications site for the
autographed memorbilia and I think Ebay's policy permits it. Could
it be that the link held out my description? I also would like to
know should I submit with no shipping inclosed in the auction and
when the Ebay review ad page come up indicate my weight for
calculated shipping? Shouldn't I be able to get the insurance cost
based on the final sell cost instead of the size of the package from
the post office am I correct on this? How will I indicate it on
Kauction to give me that option?

i'm confused, are you able to list or not?  outside links may stop a
listing, as will many other things.  if you want to list with
calculated shipping, just start the auction with a flat rate shipping
(so you don't get an error) and then click the 'Edit Listing' link on

     Are you back together with your PC yet? I was able to post but
only using my desk top XP machine. Bulk upload worked for four
auctions then wouldn't submit the rest. I worked for eight hours
trying to get other auctions posted. It take ungodly amounts of time
to get the review page to show, all the information listed in the
auction. Mainly the description to show up and in some of the
auctions it never did. Then I had to go and edit the
information which Kauction  is unable to do IE, shipping calculator
and insurance which Ebay has forced everyone to use or seller pays
the shipping! I'm really not understanding what major has happened.
Earlier this year I posted auctions up using Kauction and in a
matter of minutes I had ten auctions posted. This is just as bad as
posting using Ebays page. That's what I loved so much about Kauction
it saved me time posting I could prepare auctions during the week
and it managed all my task. Wow what a difference! Will we be able
to get one or both machines posting?

noone's really having problems like this that i know of!  sorry for
the problems.  maybe it's something with your submissions?

if you get a chance, send me your database as an attachment to an
email.  it's called 'kauction.mdb' and it should be in kAuctions
folder

C:\Program Files\kAuction

i will try to run auctions with your info.

or send me the file called 'troubleshooting.txt' after an
unsuccessful attempt at listing.  it'll be in kAuction's folder and
might give me some clues!

Can't upload to picture server. Getting error message that kAuction
can't connect. Checked settings, they are correct. My regular ftp
software has no problem connecting with the same settings. Any ideas?

months. I have added and deleted it about a dozen times. I install
KAuction. When I go to open it in Vista I get a swirly circle that just
goes around and round and KAuction n ever opens any ideas on how to do
this would be great. I have it loaded on my wifes laptop with Vista on
it and Kauction works fine there.

what are roadrunner settings?  you can set folder options in
kAuction's FTP settings, i.e. can add /~html/ as the folder.

or sometimes, that's just the URL it's given....the web site actually
wants you to upload to another folder and then it gets a name not
corresponding to upload location.  for pair.com (which i use), the
folder i have to upload to is call 'public_html' and that is not part
of the URL name for the picture.  you have to ask roadrunner what the
correct FTP upload settings are

Downloaded the beta. The file won't open. It is in the kAuction folder
like it's supposed to be but nothing happens when I try to run it. I
downloaded the previous version and it works just fine. Thanks.

Tried the beta again. Get the XP Pro warning of not recognized
publisher, run anyway. Checked Task Manager -- kAuction running in
background. Tested twice. Same results. (XP Pro version completely
updated to latest from MS)
