Hook a computer directly up to your internet connection (outside
the firewall) and if it’s better then it’s a problem with your firewall or
internal systems. If it’s the same you tell your provider they need to look
again.

Subject: [kcsmb] Download Bandwidth and the Firewall on SBS 2008
Our download speeds have come to a screeching
halt, it is like we are on dsl.
The access provider (a local IT firm) here at the building where we are located
says everything is good on their end, ergo it must be us.
They said it is likely due to a firewall issue on our end.
Any ideas?
Jerry
