This group is for developers of Kicad, the amazing integrated EDA program. Not only does it capture schematics and layout PCB's, it is open source (GPL), free and runs on a range of platforms (Linux,Windows and MAC). This group concentrates on the design and programming behind Kicad.

... I have just done a 2-layer board with PCBNew, and the new design rules + net classes are brilliant. They really make a difference as you can set and forget
