For Diane and anyone else interested in reading through Klein this summer:
WELCOME! I had stumbled across this YahooGroup quite by accident and would be
glad to connect with people this way. We've got a reading group area set up at a
Ning (like a YahooGroup, but easier to use I think) - you can see what we've got
set up there:
http://firesidelearning.ning.com/group/historyofmath
We'll be getting started in earnest in June; you can see a rough schedule there
at the Ning page.
To join the group, there is a "Sign-Up" in the upper-right hand corner of the
page; you will be prompted to create a Ning account if you do not have one
already (if you already a member of some other Ning, you can join with your
existing log-in identity).
FiresideLearning.Ning.com is a group of educators (mostly K-12, although some
university faculty also; mostly from the US but also from Canada, Australia,
Israel) - I've been a member for about two years now and it has been a real plus
in my life as a teacher; if any of you out there at teachers, you might be
interested in visiting quite aside from Klein.
HAPPY SUMMER!
