Description
Welcome to Knowledge Management Malaysia Yahoogroup.
This e-group aims to bring together the Leading Experts, KM Practitioners, KM Consultants, KM enthusiasts and those interested to practice KM in Malaysia. Sharing knowledge today is an important activity that contributes to the development of intellectual assets.
This discussion forum will be a "Collaborator" for us to discuss issues on KM and Best Practices. It is also devoted to developing a balanced view of KM in the context of a learning organization and towards achieving the K-economy in Malaysia.
With linking to the Knowledge Management Association of Malaysia (KMAM), this Discussion Forum will be the first step towards more activities on KM. The objectives of which the KMAM was established are :-
(1) To encourage collaboration among members in the interest of knowledge management in Malaysia as well as globally. This will promote closer relationship and goodwill among the members and members of the public with similar objectives.
(2) Establishes a network of resources with other knowledge practitioners and experts and provides a framework for newly created knowledge, capturing and sharing of tacit as well as explicit knowledge.
(3) To support KM initiatives in Malaysia & provide exposure for organisations and government agencies with tools, technology and processes for business transformation and KM competencies.
(4) To support Government objectives of K-Economy & building a knowledge-based society by leveraging on members’ intellectual capital which will provide a competitive advantage to the public, government, universities and business entities.
