Hi -
[Apologies for any x-postings.]
Dave Davison described a nice timeline at the recent eLearning Forum.

It occurred to me that it makes sense to apply a value & social network
technology to record and visualize these types of stories forever. The best
approach by far for this is OurStory. If you have 6-minutes, visit this site
for a description.

As an example, here is the story of OurStory.

Additionally, OurStory allows --
1. Import of large datasets to automatically create, inform social
networks and timelines;
2. Capability of 'private label' social networks and timelines using
the OurStory technology;
3. Broad timeline syndication to Websites, blogosphere, wiki-sphere
using 'exbeddables' and Flash;
4. Value networks data models, visualizations and optimization;
5. Wiki-like features for crafting informative and valuable timelines,
a wiki-line?
Here are some more stories -

IMO, effective value network patterns have temporal as well as topological
properties. It is when these complex patterns are 'just-right' that
favorable outcomes are easily achieved. 'Good timing' is often underrated in
innovation and strategy, for example. A step towards understanding these
complex patterns is to begin and pursue visualization.
Anyway, see and sign-up here -

BTW, OurStory is a lot of fun for family and friends!
