Hi,
This book might be of interest to members of this group as it deals
with Communities of Practice. The full details of both volumes of the
book are available from:

http://www.chris-kimble.com/CLEE/index.html

This site includes the full text of the introductory chapters to both
volumes + abstracts and author biographies for the remaining chapters.
Both books contain chapters on Communities of Practice in
Universities and Schools as well as Communities of Practice in Adult
and Continuing Education. Volume 1 focuses primarily on co-located
communities while volume 2 focuses primarily on virtual / on-line
communities and distance learning.

The links to the ISBN numbers at the top of each page go to
Amazon.co.uk and take you to either the individual volumes or the
two-volume set; the link to the publisher's web site however only
gives the option of buying a two volume set).

I hope that it will of some interest top this group.
