This group is for fulltime growers and student growers exchanging infromation about growing crops organically. We cover both food crops and ornamental crops (trees,shrubs flowers etc..) We encourage contacts, dialog, pictures and infromation about methods, meetings seminars etc..about ways to be successfull as a Organic grower. The picture at left shows our newest idea for organic food and ornamental production. No soil, no tilling, no garden, no farm is needed. Grow anywhere you have a little water and 10-16 sq. of space. On a roof, on a boat, on pavement, in a desert, it makes it possible to grow quantities of organic food anywhere! It's a closely spaced wood basket that's held together with two steel wires, is organic, sustainable,compostable, and recyclable and best of all is about $15.00 for 13 sq. ft of planting space. The planting mix can be made from any compostable organic product.
