DAMA (The Data Management Association) has a chapter in Southern California. We
are a
not-for-profit, vendor-independent, group of data architects, data
administrators, data
analysts, and managers of the above. We do not usually have DBA's as members,
except
insofar as they are responsible for logical (as well as physical) database
design.
