I work for a high school that has iMacDV's MacOS 9.2.2, 256 MB RAM,
running Macintosh Manager 1.4. I cannot run the UMAX ASTRA 6450
scanner under a user log-in correctly. I installed the application
under the users log-in which did work but am told by the system
administrator that would create massive traffic due to the
preferences each user would send to the server each time they logged
in. So we both sat down and tried to implement our labhand software
which I am told "didn't create a new set of managed preference folders"!
I am back to the drawing board since my fix didn't work, but I can't
get the LABHAND to work either.

Any help greatly appriated.
