Having problems with message search?
Last year I attended my first ALMA conference in Portland, and found it to be exactly what you are looking for. I was surrounded by people that manage laboratories, and found that as diverse as our labs are, the key challenges are pretty much the same. Each speaker/class/roundtable discussion applied directly to my position. The conference is next week, very short notice for you if you aren't already coming, but keep it in mind for next year...
