Hello All,
Our Tanaka APM-7 flashpoint analyzer's electric igniter died today (we
use it for ASTM D-93, Pensky-Marten closed cup testing unit). We are
unable to procure a replacement for at least a month (13th on the
waiting list!) and have samples in house to analyze plus the back log
this will create. I was wondering if anyone else uses this analyzer and
has an extra electric igniter, part no: P89-0206, that we could buy from
you or replace when our order comes in?
Just in case no one has the part, does anyone regularly perform this
test per ASTM D-93 and if so, what certification does your lab have? We
would need that information since we perform this test for the nuclear
industry. We would be grateful for any help you can offer.
