Welcome to LAMushrooms, the Los Angeles Mycological Society (LAMS) Yahoo Group discussion forum--a place for LAMS members to freely exchange information about forays, identification questions or any topic of general interest to mushroomers in Southern California.

Participants are encouraged to share accounts of forays (mushroom hunting), upload mushroom images to the Photos section of the Yahoo Group or to participate in forum discussions.

1. You MUST be an LAMS member to join LAMushrooms.  No Exceptions! If your membership lapses, you will be UNSUBSCRIBED by the group moderator!  If you are not a current LAMS member and you request to join the LAMushrooms forum you will be referred to the LAMS membership page.  You will be added to the forum as soon as the LAMS membership chair informs the forum moderator that you have a valid LAMS membership.

2. Topics of discussion should be relevant to LAMS members and the broader mycological community, especially in Southern California.

3. Respectful behavior is REQUIRED.  Personal attacks, profanity, political diatribes and off-topic postings will merit a warning from the group moderator.  Repetition of the undesirable behavior will result in removal of the offending member from the Yahoo Group.
