Are you looking for a Palm RSS reader? There's Quick News and SplashNews.
I think they both can sync via hotsync.

I still use my modified LifeDrive daily and I'm still not ready to switch
to something else. There's so much that I use it for that it would be a
bit of a task to replace all the functionality. The Palm Pre looks sexy,
but I'm not ready to make the jump...plus, I don't want my data living in
the cloud.
