Hi,

I get this error whenever I try to enter anything, even just an email
address:

"syntax error in date in query expression '#31/12/9999 12:00:00 a.m.#'."

What have I done wrong?

At this time, that functionality is not available. Individuals must be imported, then they can be assigned at a later point to classes configured in Auxiliary Assistant.

Delete a row by clicking in the border immediately to the left of the row.  The entire row will be highlighted.  Then, press the "delete" key on your keyboard.  Keep in mind that, if you delete a row, all prior visit data associated with that district, companionship, or teachee will no longer be valid.

The monthly report is designed as the report on attendance. It
provides attendance information the secretary is required to give to
the ward clerk each month, which is specifically the number of people
who haven't attended any meetings each month. In addition, it gives
the names of those individuals, which bishops often want to know.

Thanks Kent!  That was the problem.  I didn't realize that I didn't have the
individual families saved for each girl.  All working now!  This program is a
lifesaver by the way!  Do you know why it isn't for sale any longer?  I passed
it on to all of my friends.

The first thing to check is this: In each Enter or Edit a Person
record, is the Family dropdown box populated with the correct family.
Sometimes people enter the information into the family form, but don't
go back and select that family in the person form.

There is not a delete function for visits. You can re-use the extra
visit record by changing the month the next time you record visits.

I figured it out. When setting up the organization one has to add
visiting teaching districts under "Set up callings" to the four that
came with the program. Once I did that I could go back and enter the
visiting teaching visits and when I saved the entries each district
was added to the drop down list, so I now have 11 districts saved
with the visits. However, I inadvertently saved a district without
any visits recorded except for the month and year. When I entered
the program again and recorded the visits for that district I ended
up with two districts with the same district number, month and year.
One has null visits and the other has the recorded visits. Can't
figure out how to delete that one district with the null entries.

Okay -- step by step
I created my Visiting Teaching Districts (11), then proceeded to set up
each of the companionships. Was able to print out the VT Supervisor's
Report. I have now collected all the VT Supervisor's Reports and began
entering the visits under each district. I entered visits for and
saved 8 districts, got some additional information about one of the
sisters in district 5. Went to top of that screen "Visit Details to
Edit", clicked on drop down box and noticed that only districts 5-8
were in the drop down box. I thought I must have dreamed saving each
district, so went back and entered the data for districts 1-4 again,
saved each one again, and when I went back to the "Visit Details to
Edit" drop down, only districts 1-4 were listed in the box. Sent post.

Here is the information from page 6 of the user documentation:

To transfer the software and data, simply make a backup of your
software as described in Backing Up Your Software, above, and give
that backup, along with any original CD's, discs, or other
documentation, to the newly called secretary.

Alternatively, you can help the new secretary install LDS Auxiliary
Assistant from the original CD's, and replace the file AuxAsst.mdb,
found in c:\Program Files\AuxiliaryAssistant\your edition\data\ on the
new secretary's computer, with the copy from your own computer.
