Selling My Lectra! (also spare encoder disk for sale)

Yes, I just got it all running and registered on the road a month or two ago but I need the $$ to get my Ninja conversion project going again.  And I love the Lectra for the most part.  It has been a lot of fun and I am hoping I will miss it enough to stay focused for my other other project.

Anyway, I have it on craigslist: http://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/749088545.html

I am in Nashua NH (aka "the Boston area" if you are not from New England)

If you read about it here and tell me I can take $500 off my asking price.  Keep in mind this has NEW tires and NEW batteries and NEW encoder disk along with some minor fixups and new fork boots.  The chrome and plastic is in good shape and only a few metal parts show some cosmetic surface rust from age.

In fixing the encoder rotor I bought the LAST 2 rotors available.  I used one of the them and they new white material is supposed to be much better than the black stuff.  I have a picture of the new and the old: http://newts.org/gallery/Lectra/DSCN1502

I paid $100 for the pair and I will sell the last one (still sealed in plastic) for $60 including shipping.  Seems like a lot but if you have a black one I suspect it is only time before it cracks and when it does there is no replacement.

$500 plus $650 plus batteries was still cheaper than $8000 for new electric cycles or $2500-$4000 for a conversion. Supply and demand since there are not many...

Where do you get batteries for $650? The best I could do for Optimas was about 200 each. My Lectra that I got off this list this year: $500 Lectra ~100 Van...
