Hi Mark -- Thanks for the update. If you have an early Lectra, that is rare and
unique. We hand built those down to each detail.

The forks came from a GS-125, I think --- a Suzuki street bike from Taiwan. I
think another owner found some replacement part number --- search this
discussion and you may find it.... if you do, let me know and I'll add it to the
Lectra Support page at www.ElectricMotorbike.org

Hello all. I just purchased a Lectra that hadn't been used in 5 years. I have replaced the batteries and the SOC lights and all other electrical system seem ok...

Have you tried giving it throttle while you hold the PWR button? The light should extinguish once you start rolling....

Make sure the green "N" light goes off and stays off while the "PWR" button is pushed ..... if it does not, you need to fix the ground on that button. Best...

Yep, you are in Neutral unless moving, according to the microcontroller in the bike.  All this is normal. Hold down PWR, push a little with your feet and roll...

Thanks for the info. It gives me a place to start. I'll take out the bad seal and see if there are any part numbers. Does the gearbox require any lubrication?...
