Yep, you are in Neutral unless moving, according to the microcontroller in the bike.  All this is normal. Hold down PWR, push a little with your feet and roll...

Make sure the green "N" light goes off and stays off while the "PWR" button is pushed ..... if it does not, you need to fix the ground on that button. Best...

Yes. Make sure you loosen them when adjusting the chain/axle. Then tightened snuggly to hold the eccentrics in place....

It's pretty straight forward. Just note all connections as you remove them, and install as dis-assembled. Be careful not to short any wrenches to the frame...
