RE: [letssc] TURMEL: John Turmel's Guinness Record Quadruple Election Campaign

GOOD FOR YOU, John!

I’m using an on-line petition for the first time. Let’s use the net and UNILETS as effectively and efficiently as possible. Have you come across www.ripplepay.com ???

With best wishes for more and more power to your e-elbows, here’s our story:

NEWS RELEASE

Public Credit Petition has been viewed over 1000 Times

Since publishing Stop the Cash Crumble to Equalize the Credit Crunch on May 31st, 2008, it has been viewed over 1000 times which has resulted in 75 signatures. Austin Mitchell MP will take the petition further as soon as 100 signatures are reached. New support has been received as follows:

Prem Sikka, professor of accounting at the University of Essex in Colchester, is writing regularly for the Guardian online and has signed as no. 28. He has flagged the petition on the website of the Association for Accountancy and Business Affairs in a number of places. He has also asked for an 8000-word for the Journal of Accountancy Business and the Public Interest.

Peter Etherden who has posted Henry Swabey’s History of Usury on the web contributes to texts explaining the background and why the petition matters in the tradition of UK history of law making. The first chapters can be found on the Forum blog.

John-Paul Flintoff has signed as no. 66 and his two related articles for Times Online are cited as part of the description text: Ban compound interest to save the planet and Is interest-free lending inevitable?

The hosting company GoPetition lists the petition among their featured ones in the UK thus providing special exposure.

At the House of Commons the Procedure Committee produced a report on Public Petitions and Early Day Motions in May 2007. The Government’s response was published on 26 July 2007. A Written Ministerial Statement was published on 22 July 2008 and its forward looking way is most encouraging.

It is hoped that this new on-line tool will not only be effective as a pilot in raising awareness but actually achieve the desired aim, especially if not only the public but also institutions wake up.

With ‘globally warm’ regards,

Sabine

Subject: [letssc] TURMEL: John Turmel's Guinness Record Quadruple Election Campaign

John Turmel's Guinness Record Quadruple Election Campaign

Who: John "The Engineer" Turmel
What: Guinness quadruple "most elections contested" Record
When: September 8 2008 Guelph federal byelection
Where: Guelph Ontario Canada
Why: Present the UNILETS time-based currency solution to
financial problems

JCT: This morning, Thursday 14 2008, the King of the
Paupers, John "The Engineer" Turmel will be registering to
contest my Guinness Record 67th election in the Canadian
federal byelection in Guelph. The first debate will be held
that evening.

But instead of transcribing election debates at my world's
longest political blog like I used to, I'll be posting 10-
minute video-reports to YouTube.

Of course, if you Google for "Prime Minister of the Planet,
you'll see I'm the only candidate who has dared to announce
so far. So I'll be doing video-reports on global issues to
show that the UNILETS Resolution can use interest-free time-
based currency software to solve almost all financial
problems.

But I've also decided to take on the candidates in the two
United States presidential election debates: not only the
current race between Barack Obama and John McCain but also
the current race between presidential contenders Matt Santos
and Arnold Vinnick on TV's the West Wing.

I've always been able to show up my opponents because I have
use of the LETS interest-free time-banking software while
they never have enough money from their orthodox banking
system software to solve the problems they face.

So not only will I be posting my video reports on solutions
to global and Canadian problems but I'll be posting how I'd
fix the problems the American candidates will be forced to
face and then fail to solve. Where I'll succeed.

Because at the end, I'll be willing to bet the solution I
engineer with UNILETS time-based money is optimal and that
others won't be able to bet against me.

I have run in triple federal, provincial and municipal
concurrently several times before but this is the first time
I'll run a quadruple campaign. My first YouTube campaign.
