Dear John and friends,
Presumably there is a provision in the Canadian Constitution that provides that Canadian are provided the right to participate in the political process on equal terms as other Canadians.
This provision for political participation is also in Article 25 of the UN International Covenant on Civil and Political RIghts which treaty is ratified by Canada.
You have been treated unfairly, if not illegally, and I hope you will continue this important fight.
Freedom of expression also includes the right to seek, receive and impart information without interference.
I cannot understand how we manage as Canadians to have so many people in positions of power who are so poorly informed as to the application of our laws.
