I just received a message from a former Lex customer asking why she
was receiving email messages when she was no longer the librarian,
and the library was now using another automation product.

The reason is simple: this mail list is for those who chose to
subscribe, and their membership continues until they unsubscribe. It
has no connection to whether you are a current customer or not.
