Hi,

I am willing to try to work in this project, and I started looking at
sources, and at some posts in the mailing list but I thought it would be
best to ask everyone a few questions....

1) how is the GUI going to be done? Is there an intent to use a
multiplaform widget set like Qt/similar?
2) How is the structure/ideas behind the project? What I mean is the
software architecture.
3) is there any plan/is it there already support for multiple languages?
4) what's the status of the development so far for this project.

so everyone knows:
1) I'm not a dentist, but my father is... So that is my motivation.
2) I'm just a poor electrical engineering student w/ C/C++/SQL/LDAP/PHP
background.
3) I think i might start having lots of time to colaborate for the project
after I'm done w/ finals in about 1 week.
