Hi all,

Kmail on Suse 10 here. My HD filled up, and while clearing out old
mail in kmail, I suddenly noticed that my inbox message count went to
zero. I found that all mail files was still in
./.kde/.../mail/inbox/cur/ , but the index file is ultra small, so
somehow it got corrupted. I can't find a way to re-import the mail as
all import options seem to be looking for key files depending on the
import app type.

Is there some way to re-create the index for my existing mail? Or
re-import? If not, would some other mail program import the mail
without an index file? This way I can transfer to another email
client, then import back into kmail.
