Description

A deshi platform of Linux people who think Linux do Linux and make people for Linux.

Linux bangladesh was founded in 28th May 2002 to increase the Linux User, Developer and Distributor in Bangladesh. Linux Bangladesh has Devoted to serve the Bangladeshi people and promote them a efficeint Technology like Linux. Because Linux is a free operating System and Public Licensed OS.

Till now software piracy is rampant in the country. But the days are nearing when copyright laws will be strictly in force and the people of the country will be left with no option but to spend an addition amount of money on licensed software. This is why this forum are trying to prepare the country to take to Linux as an alternative operaitng system for the people who will not want to buy or afford expansive proprietary System.

The Linux Bangladesh forum, which already has 130 Members. The forum plans to hold seminars, discussions and workshops at a regular interval to share knowledge of the operating system and the software that the ship with it. This forum actually want to create a platform where one Linux user can exchange information on the system with another.

This forum already has arranged seven seminar and so many workshop on Linux. Now we are trying to publish a magazine on Linux. For more information please mail us......
