Hello All,

As you are aware, Bangladesh Government has introduced Day Light Saving Time (DST) which will be activated from 19-06-2009 22:59.
Mango Teleservices has published a guideline to configure network devices, workstations and server operating systems to be aligned with the DST. The document can be accessed from the website of Mango Teleservices from the below link: http://www.mango.com.bd/bd-dst.php

I hope that this guide will be useful for you. Let me know if you have any feedback on this or any other queries.
I am aware and hope that Ubuntu and CentOS will publish the fix by tomorrow through stable update channel.

Cheers,
Imtiaz Rahi

Hi,

in windows, domain login works a bit differently. When you logon to any windows machine in domain, 2 things are checked, the user account and the conputer account. if any of the account is absent, you wont be able to login.

Good Luck,

Hi,

I have not used the sendmail since long, I think it creates folders for each user you define in sendmail.  where the mails for that use are stored as files. you can use a script to deleted those files/folders based on the attribute "Modified Date"

Hi,

there might be many features to be explore. I have not done it yet. the security might also be enhanced. likewise Vista, this OS also has NAP client built-in. there were few videos I have seen on Utube where in if you have a Touch screen LCD monitor, you can re-size, rotate the pictures with your finger-tips.

Thanks and Regards,

But, why Microsoft always tells that W7 is revolutionary and its far different from their other previous OS release. SPEED is the main cause??!!

Now, W7 release is coming soon and we should discuss on w7 lot.

Guys,

There are lots of discussion going on about Windows 7 and again its the
same business strategy of Microsoft to make market hype. Hype tells
"It's the major step of Microsoft in OS".Anyway, We need some windows 7
review from people those who already use it. At least we will appreciate
those review whether we hate windows or not. Tell anything as you like

Hi,

I have not worked on postfix, but I think by default any SMTP server allows relay. There is an option in Sendmail "Relay based on MX" check if there is any such options in postfix.
2ndly check if the domain to which you are trying to send mails is reachable and its MX record is resolvable.

Thanks and Regard,
Devendra Gogate.

By group you mean a domain or mailing list or ___?

There is no authentication as such, either the domain dint resolve or
some firewall is blocking.

Hope you tried this in your machine which is not configured mail
gateway. Any of the mail server on install should work out of the box
and your configuration looks perfectly fine to me.

VirtualBox is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as
well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high
performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional
solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the
GNU General Public License (GPL).

VirtualBox is a virtual emulator like VMWare workstation. It has many of the
features VMWare has, as well as some of its own.
