Hi John,
This list is inactive because the work done of HTML and XML localization
aspects is now done by several more official groups, mostly:
- The W3C GEO task force (http://www.w3.org/International/geo/)
- The XLIFF TC at OASIS (www.xliff.org)
Hope this helps.

Subject: [lisa-its] A bit quiet
Hello all,
I joined the group in December and was looking forward to lots of healthy
debate and good advice. Particularly around the issues of website
localization! Unfortunately it appears to be a bit quiet. Is this just a
quiet January and things will start to liven up soon?
Cheers
