ITS and RelaxNG   Message List

Hi Yves,

I was wondering if you could give me a little information about the
rationale behind choosing RelaxNG as the one-stop schema for ITS.

I am in the process of doing some R&D for RelaxNG schemas for the
LISA standards. TMX, in particular. Since you have been intimately
connected with that standard in the past, would you be able to share
your views on the matter?

I have brought up the topic of using RelaxNG for TMX in the recent
past to OSCAR and have met with almost complete resistance from the
present TMX editor. Upcoming TMX 2.0 includes the use of ITS, so it
is a little odd that there is so much opposition to it when quite a
number of different XML standards and recommendations are starting
to adopt it.

Any you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Raymond Martin
