Join us if you are looking for a friendly place to find help and hints for managing your group, ownership problems, and promoting your group or mailing list. And No, you don't have to keep your group at YahooGroups. We welcome anyone using any listserver. ListHelp is moderated by experienced list owners.

We will do our utmost to aid you anyway we can! If we can not come up with a correct solution, hopefully we can point you in a direction to get you on your way.

You are encouraged to ask any question you might have. There are no trivial or stupid questions, so ask away... we were all newbies once!

On topic discussion about list management and group ownership is encouraged.

Definite No-No's are:

Flaming (attack the subject, not the person)
Spam (ads, solicitations extra long sigs)
List Announcements
Cross-Posting (sending mail to more than 1 list at a time)
Copyrighted Material (without owner permission and copyright)
HTML (use plain text, HTML gets stripped)
Virus Warnings
Excessive Quoting (quote only what's necessary)
Excessively large signature blocks (3 lines or so is max, please use self restraint... new members are set to moderated, the moderators do Not want to spend their time trimming signature blocks :))

or any other breach of netiquette.

Here are General Netiquette Guidelines that you can apply as a basic set of rules for your group. They can be Modified to fit your group's requirements.

Remember listowners come from all age groups, so please use appropriate language. This list has a worldwide reach. There are members whose first language is not English. Please be considerate toward them; they have the same problems as you!
